It might as well be understood as scientific fact that the dirt bike helmet is the single most important piece of protective equipment one can utilize. The central processor for literally EVERYTHING you do, think, see, say, etc. is under that shell, so you better do your absolute best to protect it to the best of your ability.

Rest easy knowing every helmet on our site meets DOT safety standards. Some helmets, such as the Fly F2 Carbon Zoom w/MIPS come with SNELL approval. As you may or may not know, SNELL is a much stricter approval system than DOT. No matter which helmet you choose from RIDE365.com, you’re getting a safe option.

First things first, you want to find the right fit; and that means more than just the size. The fit will be unique to each individual person based on the size and shape of their head and no two manufacturers’ helmets fit the same. To obtain the most accurate measurement, use a soft measuring tape and measure the circumference around your head 1” above your eyebrows. From there, you can consult each manufacturers sizing charts. Spend the time to figure out which one is right for your specific head shape, and then go for aesthetics. If you’re helmet doesn’t fit perfectly, it can do more damage than good, in the event of a spill. If it’s too loose, it can even distract you and cause a crash.

Whether you’re looking for a low-key blacked out helmet, or a helmet so loud your buddies might actually notice your rapidly improving skills, we got you covered. We have some options that are solid, basic colors, we also have options that have so much neon on them, you won’t know if you’re on the podium, or the stage at an EDM concert.

Technology has come a long way since your granddad’s helmet. There is new technology in place like MIPS: Multi-directional Impact Protection System. This enables the inner layer to slide inside the outer shell; lessening the impact to the head. This technology is available in the Fox Racing V4 Libra Helmet.
